Qotd: Do you like reading stories that are set in high school?

If yes, get your hands on the short story of the author Caleb Thornton. Story is written in three chapters and one could read it in a single sitting. Matthew's high school day had just started and his books were knocked out of his hands. Carter Mitchell, a Grade 11 student is responsible for this. Matthew has a crush on him and when Carter caught Matthew staring at him, he decided to make his life a living hell. Matthew couldn't understand why Carter and his friends are mean to him. One day after detention, Carter invited Matthew to his home for homework. What is the purpose behind this?

This is a story that gave me a sneak peek into high school life. There's always at least one bully in a school. Here it is Carter. This is a story for mature readers. Plot of the story is written well by the author. I appreciate the way he has created a fictional world to give the readers an escape from reality. If you are comfortable reading stories with adult content, then don't miss a chance to read this short story.
