Review:

Caleb Green is the author of many short stories. In the past, I have read his short stories and I was glad to read them. This time I got an opportunity to read Father Green by him.

There are many poems in this book. Each poem expresses the young boy's love for the Father or Priest. The poems also depicts the pain that the boy has to go through when he couldn't get the love in return.

I’m still your lost puppy

You abandoned me without notice

All I wanted was to play ball

Your silent treatment is venomous

Still I keep waiting with a smile on my face

Still I keep waiting with my tail wagging

I’m still your lost puppy

Waiting for you to come back

Silent treatment is something that hurts the most. It makes us feel guilty to the extent that is difficult to describe. It exhausts us mentally. Don't get manipulated by someone. Caleb has used an easy language so all would be able to able to understand these poems.
