Review:

Before reading Cradles of the Reich, I didn't have any idea about the Nazi breeding programs and homes for pregnant women. Gundi has worked secretly for the resistance group. She was carrying a baby from her Jewish boyfriend. If the German officials would get to know about her Jewish baby, the little innocent life would be in danger.

Hilde, an 18 year old woman was overjoyed and proud to carry the baby of a high ranking Nazi official.

Irma is a nurse who ended up in the Nazi maternity home after being cheated by her love.

This story is full of different emotions. You may wonder about the characters once you finish the story. The alternative narratives of all three women are written smoothly. If you enjoy historical fiction then you would be grateful to read this one. I will cherish this story for a long time.
