The Scent of Redemption

Book: The Scent of Redemption

Author: Shreyan Laha

My Rating: 5/5

In the year 4000 AD, Dr. Ronit Sarkar commits a grave crime by administering an untested vaccine to a 4-year-old boy. Deemed unfit to remain on Earth, he is exiled to the distant planet Flarelix. There, he encounters the superintelligent species known as the Zizanoids. As time passes, guilt begins to consume him, and he embarks on a quest for redemption.

My Thoughts:

The alien world of Flarelix is vividly imagined. The author’s rich descriptions immediately drew me in, showcasing his remarkable creativity and original vision.

I especially loved how Book 1 concluded—it left me eager for the next installment. The plot is gripping and truly unputdownable. I thoroughly enjoyed Laha’s writing style, and his inventive portrayal of Flarelix and the Zizanoids added an extra layer of intrigue to the story.

Don’t hesitate—pick up this book. You won’t regret it.
